2018: The Alliance for Disaster Relief was officially registered as a 501 (c) (3), and Alliance for Disaster Relief along with The House of Charity & Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee continued the efforts to rebuild lives, and communities post Hurricane Harvey by sharing the joy of Eid.
Distribution of toys, books, pajamas, personal care kits, socks, shoes, under garments, lunch boxes and drinks were done. Several activities to bring joy among the hard hit families was done with raffle drawings, face painting, and balloons.
